Adaköy is a village in the Marmaris district of Muğla province. Village people originally came from Bulgaria by immigration.

The climate of the neighborhood is within the influence of the Mediterranean climate.

The economy of the neighborhood is based on agriculture and animal husbandry. And as the biggest economy, it is based on the facilities belonging to the Marmaris port operations, which are located on the island, with the yacht marina in Yalancıbogaz, the Adaağzı hotel, the Magıclıfe hotel, the recreational facilities and the picnic area.

There are no primary and secondary schools in Adaköy. The neighborhood has a drinking water network, but no sewerage network. There is no post office. There is no health center. There is electricity and fixed telephone in the neighborhood.
